National School Environments Week 2008
23rd-27th June 2008
The British Council for School Environments is dedicating a week in June to
- Celebrate what is being achieved in the design and building of schools across the nation
- Showcase UK and international excellence and best practice
- Provide inspiration for schools, communities, local authorities and the private sector
With a wealth of activities planned throughout the week we aim to raise public awareness of the importance of excellent learning environments.
We will hear from school practitioners and leading designers from the UK, USA and around the world at the third Building Better Schools Summit at Westminster Academy, facilitate meetings and forums on specific topics such as sustainability and teachers’ wellbeing, encourage members to hold events and even, with our members’ help, undertake a school makeover in 5 days!
