Dear Colleague,

The Building Better Schools Summit and Exhibition 2007, hosted by the British Council for School Environments, is the year's key event for all those creating teaching and learning environments.

The Summit will hear from speakers from around the World and the UK tell what worked for them and what didn't. Actual case studies will show how new or re-furbished learning environments support and transform teaching and learning. This event is NOT a series of lectures. It is the opportunity to learn, discuss and share experience.

“We must be smarter about sharing experience.”
Jim Knight, Minister of State for Schools, January 07

“Central to our vision for 2020 are the changes schools make in their practices for learning and teaching. Over the next decade, the education system has a huge opportunity to design learning spaces that reflect these changes.
