The events we are holding as part of NSEW 2011 are filling so fast. If you haven’t booked yet we would advise that you do so you aren’t disappointed.

It will be launched on Friday 17th June 2011 at our House of Commons Lunch and Reception. This unique event is hosted by Graham Stuart MP, Chair of the Education Select Committee and kindly supported by Sunesis – a joint venture between Willmott Dixon and Scape.

To book your place at the House of Commons Lunch or the Seminar please contact Brigid at brigid@bcse.uk.net

On Tuesday 21st June 2011 we will be hosting a FREE best practice seminar – CREATING INSPIRING SCHOOL ENVIRONMENTS.

This is in partnership with Design Commission for Wales and the 21st Century Schools Programme

This will be held at Newport High School and will bring together the best thinking and emerging practice from schools, local authorities, educators and designers in Wales and across the UK. The aim is to share knowledge, network and ensure that despite challenging times, we are still aiming to build, design and create great learning environments for our children and young people. There will be time to hear from some inspiring speakers and to connect with colleagues from across sectors and across countries.

To book your free place at this seminar please contact Brigid at brigid@bcse.uk.net

On Wednesday 22nd June 2011 we have our BCSE Best of British Schools Awards and London Skyline Party at the Blue Fin Building in London.

The ‘Best of British Schools’ awards celebrate all that is good about our schools and those that create them. They are a fantastic opportunity to host clients, staff, your supply chains and the school leaders and teachers that bring these environments to life.

Now in their fourth year, the awards are at a new London venue. We will be celebrating mid-summer like no other City can, with terrace views to warm the heart and a format that is cost effective – with the emphasis on celebration of achievement and networking not formal dining for the sake of it.

This event is now FULLY BOOKED

On Tuesday 28th June 2011 we are holding the Design and Learning Environments Conference: “Future Funding: Future Planning”

This is a unique event which combines experiences from all stages of the education process (schools, academies, FE, HE) into one day. This one day conference – rich with case studies - will share latest thinking, practical experience and commentary to enable delegates to plan and develop the future of our schools, colleges and universities against a background of a challenging budget settlement.

Please visit here for more information and booking details. There is a BCSE Member Benefit Discount of £40 when you book using Discount Code: BCSE2011. You must be a fully paid up BCSE Member to take advantage of this discount.
