Radio 4 Costing the Earth

The BCSE were interviewed by Radio 4's Costing the Earth programme about the environmental implications of the BSF programme and progress to date. The programme broadcast on 26 January at 9.00pm and will be repeated on 29 January at 1.30pm. Roderic Bunn of the Building Services Research and Information Association, who co-wrote our response to the zero carbon task force, says we're turning Head teachers into crash test dummies for this new technology, and that most new green schools are not sustainable, while Adrian Leaman of the Usable Buildings Trust warns the impact on children's learning will be serious.
