BB93 Review Forum
Tuesday 24 February 2009, 9:15 am
Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel
National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, B40 1PP
Hosted by the Institute of Acoustics and the Association of Noise Consultants
The Transformational Learning agenda is stretching (and even going beyond) the scope of BB93.
BB101 was brought out after BB93 (and is therefore not referenced) and there is often the view by
designers and contractors that these 2 documents are at odds. With these and other factors in mind, a Steering Group has been convened by the DCSF, headed by Les Fothergill.
A call for feedback has been made to all Institute of Acoustics members for their views and experiences of how BB93 may be improved. This meeting has been arranged to establish a response. This is your chance to provide your input and help shape the future of this document.
This event provides delegates with an opportunity to discuss the issues that have arisen since BB93 was brought out, for input to the review process. Workshops will be run over the course of the day on:
- Open Pan
- Sustainability
- Reverberation Control
- Derrogations
- BREEAM
- Sound Insulation
- Special Educational Needs
