BCSE Consultancy & Development
The British Council for School Environments provides a range of consultancy and development services for schools, local authorities, government, constructors, designers, architects and suppliers across the UK and internationally.
We do this for a number of reasons:
- to meet the needs and requirements of our members
- to push the boundaries of practice and innovation
- to shape our research priorities and inform our policy work
We have a wealth of experience in all aspects of the school design process and our development work and priorities for 2008-9 are around four main themes:
* Stakeholder engagement and participation
* Visioning, strategy and inspiration
* Networking, best and next practice
* Evaluation, development and research
An incubator for innovation
A particular strength of our work lies in our work as an incubator for new ideas, developed either in partnership with our members or government, trust, commercial or public sector partners. We also provide a bespoke programme of development and consultancy work that can help support your long term strategy in this exciting field of work.
People and places
BCSE has a wealth of experience in developing transformational learning environments which draws on the expertise of an outstanding team of BCSE associates and facilitators. We are currently working across the UK but also increasingly work internationally with our staff and associates supporting and advising organisations across the world.
